our philosophy
As a lifestyle product company, we take a conscious effort in selecting materials and production methods that are eco-friendly. We continue to educate ourselves everyday on the different terminologies of what is recycled, recyclable and biodegradeable so that we in return, can provide a better selection of products to our consumers.

joy wraps + boxes
Our award-winning wraps are printed with soy-based inks on 70#T uncoated linen paper, that has 30% post-consumer waste, is elemental chlorine free and have water-based aqueous coating for longevity.

cards + jujus
Our greeting cards are printed on acid-free felt paper which contains 30% post-consumer fibers. All of our envelopes contain fibers from well managed, independently certified forests.

joy child
Needless to say, our joy child organic line is made from 100% certified organic cotton. All designs are embroidered and assembled in USA. In order to reduce unwanted packaging, all gift sets are packaged in our mix-matched joy boxes, which are made from our prints. We encourage reusing them as keepsake boxes.

recycled cotton totes
Our totes are made from 80% recycled blended cotton yarn and 20% recycled soda bottles. Manufactured in USA.

bio-degradable packaging
Starting summer 2008, we will be switching our stationery packaging to bio-degradable clear plastics. The first 2 products that will have green packaging will be our JOY Notepads and Meli + Jojo Collection.

ultrasuede®
There are many imitation ultrasuede materials out in the market, and we want to clarify that our material is the authetic and original Toray Ultrasuede® America Inc. Though the material thus far, does NOT have any recycled content, Toray is a responsible manufacturer that is committed to the continual improvement of the environment throught its myriad efforts across all of its manufacturing facilities. Most effectively, to reduce CO2 emissions and to aid the elimination of effluent discharge.

social responsibility
Some of the organizations we contributed to, since we started in 2005 include:

2005 Kids of Kilimanjaro
2006 Save the Children
2007 Nature Conservancy
